A Potted History

Born. Eventually. Wayyyyyyyyyy back in 1968.

Educated. Frequently. North Staffordshire University, Birmingham University and Glyndwr University.

How do.

A few years back I decided to have a change in career, I was getting every so slightly fed up as a systems admin. So I took the opportunity (read made redundant) when it arrived to change career. I thought I'd do a degree and the degree of choice was Archaeology. (Bear with me) a couple of years later I ended up with a nice shiny degree in my hand. However the opportunities for a career in Archaeology weren't exactly huge. So I ended up back in further education this time returning to something I've been doing for most of my life, namely drawing. I've completed a B.A (Hons) in Illustration at the splendidly monikered Glyndwr University. It is my intention to pursue a career in illustration, sometimes it takes a while to find a true vocation. Or in my case bloody ages. But I'm there now.

Media

I'm primarily a digital artist but I have been known to whip out some acrylics before now and have worked with pastels and charcoal during life drawing sessions. I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I'm currently exploring the use of Painter too.

At the moment it's been logo design , flyers and the like for local business.
